Board a private boat crossing the ancient West Baray early in the afternoon to take best advantage of the many activities provided by the villagers of Kok Tnout. Explore this beautiful and unspoiled village by ox cart or bicycle. Learn to make local cocktails. Weave palm fronds and enjoy a foot massage, drink in hand, as the sun sets over the encircling rice paddies. As you watch the villagers return from the fields in the late afternoon with a procession of ox carts you are reminded that little has changed in this rice growing community since Angkorian times.
Dinner is served over five courses of Khmer celebratory cuisine illuminated by starlight and candlelight for a truly memorable and atmospheric evening worthy of any celebration.

Glimpse fishing communities and ecosystems that the world has passed by on Southeast Asia’s largest freshwater lake

Photograph the sun dipping into the lake from Samsara’s cocktail deck. Watch a meteor shower from the darkness of the lake or a supermoon rise from its waters for memories to last a lifetime. Small boats are used to explore Mechrey village to spot fireflys in the backwaters near Prek Toal bird biosphere. Time feels precious on this boat.
