Silver Medal
Ningbo International Young Chef Challenge
In October 2018, Chef Det Saya and Chef Ronkdam Nuon brought home the silver medal from the Ningbo International Young Chef Challenge. They were both selected by the Cambodian Chef Association to represent Cambodia and compete against 108 contestants from 18 different countries.
The competition aims to support chefs under the age of 25 to help them gain experience, skills and abilities and herald the next generation of talented chefs in the region. The judging panel, made up of World Association of Chefs’ Society (WACS) certified judges, applied international judging standards to award the most promising competitors.
Gold Medal
Thailand Ultimate Chef Challenge
In June 2019, our Head Chef, Srey Bora, headed to Bangkok, Thaïland, as part of a Cambodian delegation to participate in the Ultimate Chef Challenge.
Organized by the World Association of Chefs Societies, the Thaïland Ultimate Chef Challenge is part of the Global Chef Challenge where the world’s top chefs meet to compete. After a grueling week, Chef Bora brought home the Gold Medal for the Best Asian Gourmet Challenge.
